SAM HILL WINS VAL DI SOLE TEST EVENT

Last weekend in Italy a test event took place, with the worlds top racers invited down to take part. It is the prequel to the big World Champs event in July.



If this is anything to go by Sam Hill and Peaty are on it this year.. Steve has a point to prove and Sam has his titles to defend.

Results are IN for DH: 1st Sam Hill, 2nd Julien Cammelini, 3rd Steve Peat, 4th Fabien Barel, 5th Minnaar, 6th Gee! Rach took 2nd in womens!

DEITY COMPONENTS BARS AND STEM LONG TERM TEST

We started testing these bars March last year, and given over a years riding cross country and downhill how did they fare?

NMBS SEASON OPENER AT FONTANA, CALIFORNIA

Last weekend out in California was the US National Mountain Bike Series (NMBS)season opener (formerly NORBA) at Fontana. Rennie, Blenkinsop and Kovarik were among the packed Elite field for this season opener.



Once again Kovarik ruled the hill and took 1st, with Rennie pedalling hard behind to take 2nd.

SHIMANO DEORE XT SHADOW MECH REVIEW

I've had the new Shadow mech on my bike for few months now and despite harsh conditions it's still working well.



Shimano have pulled all their cards out of the bag and come up trumps with this one. Forget Rapid Rise and all that gubbins, Shadow is a worthy innovation.

Today we headed on across to Caersws in Wales for the first round of the Caersws Cup organised by Naked Racing. We went by car, but with all the flooding it might've been quicker by boat!

PEARCE CYCLES 2008: BRINGEWOOD REPORT

Finally after no winter series the 2008 racing in the Midlands finally kicks into gear with the first round of the Pearce Cycles series.



Bringewood was the venue, and despite massive tree logging operations there was a track to ride and a field full of riders eager at the bit!
